Tom Jones - Kiss. Totally murdered that song.

It can be done well though - the Age of Chance version of Kiss kicks it.

I got this CD called 'Party of The Times'. With the Xception of Ice-T's take on 'Head' and some other guys' take on 'Irresistable Bitch' the rest of the covers R chuffin' diabolical. U should here Dead or Alive's (famous 4 U spin me right round) version of 'Pop Life' its, awful. Overblown, overproduced crap.

Back when I would see Prince and hear Prince in just about everything I remember a commercial for Perugina chocolates. The music had this syncopated rhythm very similar to "Let's Pretend We're Married." It was like someone was trying to jack the song without the consequences of copyright infringement.

I heard the Ink Spots do a cover of Purple Rain about 15 years ago.
