What Songs Best Exhibit The 'Incredible Guitarist' That Prince Is?

I hear a lot of talk about how great a guitarist Prince is and how he compares to the legends but I'm interested in what songs/moments you think could hold up in that light that are readily available to any listener?
Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. We are Sexually Frustrated what we R... Amen..!!! - zelaire

I think Prince becomes incredible on guitar in a live setting. Most of the studio stuff is too processed or overproduced, like the guitar on Endorphinemachine.

Just My Imagination
Bambi
Billys Glasses

It's not incredible but I love the guitar that he played at the end of the live versions of Come he was doing in '93.

Much as I like his heavy solo's, P's greatest moments to me are the clean rhythmic sounds:

I Like It There

And I'm sure no one will agree, but I always LOVED that little solo (that fades out WAY too quickly) at the end of Can't Stop THis Feeling I Got (GB version)

The "What's Hip" boot (DNA aftershow?) has some great guitar work on it. I love the end of "I'll take you there".

Agreed... But definitely not the studio butchered version...
More like the original August 3rd 1983 version..
And of course "Just My Imagination" at 't Paard in 1988 and "Bambi" last year's at Nighttown...
But it's better to stick to the old but very reliable "The Undertaker" CD...

ICNTTPOYM (live from the SOTT film)

Some of you apparently agree! I don't know if he'll ever top the fun, energy and excitement of that solo.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

my most favouritest Prince guitar solo and actually melody is from The Question Of U. he plays the melody as the solo and the guitar sound is just so pristinely distorted just right.
sigh.
