I don't rank it as his best, but the first 5 tracks are fantastic Its the remaining tracks that let it down.
If you took the first 5, without the others, to me its a 90's dirty mind. Demos at there best. . |

I don't have it yet but i just got finished ordering it along with the Batman soundtrack. I hope that it is really good.. That is a whole lot a money $$$ that i spend, Lol I'm kiddin, I got them for free for signing up with this music club...Lol.. Peace and Be Wild!!

I agree with SquirrelMeat the first five songs kicked ass.
When I listen to this album now I think Prince sabotaged this album by including the last five songs. |

Chaos and Disorder is a classic rock album - not uinliek Jesse Johnson's Bare My Naked SOul. THe reason that it is an after thought is actually twofold: 1 - It is the last WB album and 2 - it was too much rock even for a crossover artists like Prince. Dinner with Deloroes is probably one of his best pop compositions but the rest is probably to guitar heavy for his pop/funk/R&B audience and radio formats.
Its too bad because pople will be discovering the labu years from now and wondering how they missed it when it was released | |

People have gotten so wrapped up in the bullshite that they are missing very good music.
If this album was on some Vh1 or MTV "greatest" show and all the "critics" were talking about it then people's attitudes would change. Most of Prince's p[ost WB work will be discovered then the "heads" will be talking again. |

I've always liked this album. I haven't listened to it for a minute though. I've even learned to like "Right the Wrong", "Dig U Better Dead", and "Same December". It's a top 10 Prince album for me. |
