Doesn't anybody miss the proudness of being a Prince-fan. I am only a "real"-fan for less then a year, so I don't know what it feels to be a fan of Prince in 1985-'87. What I do know is that whenever I drop the name "Prince", which I try to avoid as much as possible, I always get the same reactions: Is he still alive? He is gay! Does he still make records? So again: doesn't anybody miss the feeling of being a big fan of a "commercialy" succesfull artist? Just wondering Spanjeganger Oh trust me you'd get the "is he gay?" stuff back in 1985-87. Even moreso than now. Anyway, if you want commercial success, there's always Ashanti or Justin Timberlake.

You act like Prince is gone!! He's not gone, he along with his music has evolved. Prince is a brilliant artist and one should appreciate his talent no matter if it is in an awesome 14 minute instrumental or some good funky shake yo ass grooves. Prince has music to fit all moods.
And Prince will never be gone, he will always survive in his music. Enjoy the experience!
