Prince and his two engineers record in two studios he has available at Paisley Park.He usually uses studio A.Prince will write a song on paper then probably think of how its going to sound with what instruments etc.This is my guess by the way so dont flame me too bad.Onc he has an idea of how its going to sound he probably selcts a few sounds whether it be on piano or guitar and sees what he comes up with.Once the song develops further P tells his engineers to leave at which time he lays down some vocal tracks.
