batman soundtrack i'm really starting to get into this cd. my favs so far r
arms of orion vicky waiting lemon crush is cool batdance is fun to listen to is this the only soundtrack in history that is not heard in the motion picture? Positivity YES

This is a great cd. It's a lot of fun to listen to. I like all the songs, but some people on this site hate arms of orion. I think it's a beautiful song. Enjoy!  | |

most soundtracks these days are mostly made up of tracks
that weren't in the movie. but 'Partyman' and 'Trust' do feature quite prominently in the movie, and instrumental versions of 'Electric Chair' and 'Vicki Waiting' can be heard in the background in the party at Wayne Manor scene. And the 'Scandalous' theme crops up in the background score too. | |

guess i should of watched the movie b 4 i made that comment...i read somewhere that no songs on the soundtrack made their way into the movie...yes its true...i've never seen the batman movie...and whats wrong w/ arms of orion? thats a great song..at least its better than housequake! Positivity YES

'Arms Of Orion' is good (i've grown 2 like it  )
...but better than 'Housequake'???

Terrible. I hated Arms of Orion.
But, Vicki Waiting I absolutely love. And, most people hate this one, but I also love Batdance. I'm a fan of Partyman, Trust, Future, Electric Chair as well. I think it's a pretty good album over-all. Most people accused it of being the same old Prince, but I disagree, I can really hear the bridge between his 80s music and his 90s music on this album. Perhaps because it was made in '89?  "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. I think it was the first soundtrack album to have many songs not used in the movie. Madonna followed suit a year later with her "I'm Breathless: Music from and INSPIRED by the film Dick Tracy."
