Medley:Girls and Boys/Hollyrock Either I am really high right now or this is the funkiest shit I've ever heard. For those who don't know, it's a live bootleg of Sheila E. on drums and Prince on bass at Rupert's Club in 1986. This has to be the funkiest I've ever heard Prince thump the bass.
For those who have heard it, please post.

For those who have heard it, please post. How do you know it was Rupert's? It's widely accepted that it was a gig at the 7th Street Entry, Minneapolis...early 1986. "Waiting to be banned"

Great to see that this performance (it is indeed Minneapolis, from early '86) has not gone unnoticed around here. I have converted a great deal of ex-Prince haters with a copy of this.
Some of them still cannot believe that Prince is capable of slapping the bass like that, though... . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."
