Ehhm... i know I will name my kid Christopher or Tracy, if it was a boy.
But considering that I will NEVER have children, I think I'll name my cat or my chicken Tracy, or maybe they'll get the name of Jamie...

I know a guy, not into Prince, but his name is Michael, he'd rather be called James... and believe me, that sounds sooo stupid in Danish!! evillol

I named my turtle Prince when I was 13.

On a side note, sorta related, one of my 18 month old daughter's first words was "Lovesexy". She makes her daddy proud! clapping heart

I named my kid The Artist Formerly Known as Prince in 1997. I kind of regret that now.

The Brewers last year drafted Prince Fielder who is the son of Cecil Fielder with their first round draft choice.

I named my mother after Cynthia Rose, a character in 'Starfish And Coffee'.

The story is too long to tell, but suffice to say she required a change of identity in 1987 as a matter of security. As coincidence would have it, I was giving 'S.O.T.T.' its first listen on my headphones when she suddenly burst into the room and demanded my opinion as to which name she should use from then on. The line "Cynthia wore the happiest face just like the one she'd draw..." was what clinched it for her, so I suggested the name "Cynthia" without batting an eyelid. Amazingly, she rather liked the name, so she went ahead with the name-change.

That was how my mother became known as "Cynthia" after her name-change, which was done by deed poll.

This freaks people out when I tell them, but truth can be stranger than fiction...

Actually I went to high school with a tall buff black guy named Prince Emerson. Nobody ever picked on him or they would get clobbered.

No, but as a kid -- must've been around the Purple Rain era -- had two goldfish whom I named Morris and Jerome.

They hung in there for a good while, too.

Well, my dog's name is Sheena . . . more for the female Tarzan, but I guess the Prince influence sealed the deal . . .

I know that I might get blasted for bringing this topic up, but do you really think that MJ named his sons after Prince? A friend of mine and I were talking about this one day and she believes that MJ is drawn to Prince and wants to be like him.

Might me ludicrous, but any rate, any thoughts???

MJ says he's the king of pop. Naming his son Prince makes him a king. Prince said there are no kings on this earth only... well you know the shpeel... that's how I observed it but this might all just be hype... for all we know those two celebs might secretly be friends and one named their son after the other out of respect... then they may have joked and said watch the public go into a frenzy trying to figure this all out... including naming the other kid BLANKET...
