Prince Mention On Howard Stern-6/3/03 So, this morning Devon Devasquez is on Stern and he starts to ask her about how she wound up meeting Prince. After some classic Stern coaxing (she kept saying "Prince DOES NOT like to be talked about..to which Robin replied "Who cares?") she told a very brief story about meeting him when she was 21 and he was in Chicago on the Purple Rain tour. Apparently, a photographer for Prince (JEff Katz maybe?) spotted her as someone who had a "certain Prince look" and she wound up getting front row seats to the show and then sat on his lap at the afterparty. Wouldn't answer Stern's more sexual questions but did say she hasn't talked to Prince in years but that the last contact they had was him sending her a copy of "the War" in 1998...she described it as "a really heavy 30 minute song that was never released" Stern's reaction? He groaned.

he talked about that wacko broad suing Prince over clothes NOW sex? Howard went off of the broad!! A good 10 minute rant! * I think Howard's 30 year old girlfriend is a HUGE Prince fan! if you notice since he has been with her.. he never really says anything bad about him. I think getting Rebecca Romjin Stamos & his Girl Beth NAKED and dancing his his appartment BECAUSE of a Prince song..helped Plus Carmen Electra is his #1 or 2 Fantasy Girl! | |

I heard it too. I haven't really loved Stern's show since Jackie left/got fired and that was a pretty horrid interview (the usual for him lately). And that chick was really annonying! And I like the fact that she said "The War" wasn't released like it was something she got exclusively. Ok, Devon! | |

Howard has said on many occassions that he used to be a fan but lost respect for the man when he went on to deny his son's death in the press "just so he could promote his album" In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
