BET Movies tonight Just giving a heads up. On BET Movies (digital cable), they're showing Purple Rain. It just went off and will air again tonight around 1:30am. The finger pointing at the moon is not the moon...dammit! | |

No problemo! Also, thought I'd brag a little bit. Went to the Rock Hall last weekend and they have the purple jacket that belonged to him. Glad to see they had SOMETHING of his! The finger pointing at the moon is not the moon...dammit! | |

That jacket is currently in about 25 different places  It's in a number of hardrock cafe's and it is in a number of museums. That jacket has very special qualities  | |

They make extras to use in these exhibits. I always think it's funny because they play it off as if it were the jacket that Prince was wearing in Purple Rain. | |

I assume you mean the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland? Because there is also a section dedicated to Rock Movies and they show an exerpt of Purple Rain. | |

anyone seen the letter that prince was to have wrote to the woman in california lol if that is Princes writting I will eat that paper This letter is located at the hard rock in Minny they say it is real and I KNOW his writting is not that neat

--- actually, the brotha's got nice handwritin... i've seen that letter in the hard rock display here downtown --- well then one of them are FAKE b/c they got some lyrics he wrote and HOLY SHIT those are aweful writting skills I tell ya and spelling errors too  is that how he came up with the eeeyyyowaaa thang  just a thought to think about
