I heard an audio recording of Prince at a concert, no idea where, but a fight must have broke out in the crowd and Prince had to stop the show a couple of times to instruct the two that were involved to either quit or he would quit playing. Has anybody ever heard this?

any certain tour?

This might have been one of the 86 PARADE era tours. I remember reading about this also.

I read about that in DMSR. Didn't he say that unless they stopped fighting that he would quit music there and then

I have this boot...it's Rotterdam 8-18-86...he tells them several times throughout the show to 'be cool', but apparently, they don't stop until Prince calls 'on the one' during "America" and singles them out directly saying, "Y'all got to be cool, or go home. Stop fighting, or you'll spoil the party for everybody, cuz I swear to God, I'll split!!!" Apparently, they listened cuz with one 'good God', they snap right back into "America" and finish the show.
