I really like this song alot, i've been listening to it repeatingly and it puts me in the most sexiest mode, it sound like it should've been on the Parade album, but a friend of mines argue and say it sounds newer and it belongs on Diamonds & Pearls I mean I dunno bout y'all but this is the Prince I think I kinda miss... you know when the bootlegs where better then the tracks that made it on the album :Lol:

of course splash is a great song, and if it were from 1991 it would have been better than anything on D&P but it's from 1985, and I don't think it's better than most songs on Parade...

I gotta say, I like it, but I can see why it wasn't released at the time of recording.

It didn't hit me like Wonderful Ass, No Light In A Large Room, or Witness 4 The Prosecution.

I guess I found it underwhelming.

Splash, well I get your Parade feeling, but like Velvetsplash I wasn't all that impressed with the song itself. Sounds like a generic B-side from the Parade era, imo.
