On the D&P tour video when he's playing it live in concert. WOW! that groove at the end is sick! then, when he spews that solo out then sticks the guitar neck through his legs.

that song is not only funky and raw but beautiful as hell, from michael b's thunder on the trap set 2 prince's burnin solo...like many of his other songs its also deeply personal,with the lyrics referrin 2 his bein kicked out of his house and livin off and on with his real dad and andre cymone...

i have always thought that it was one of the few songs that Prince was able to capture on record that was so groove heavy. he hasn't always been able to capture that essence except on songs like 1+1+1=3 or DMSR.
the solo at the end is electric!
the lyrics are great and timely as well.
it probably wouldn't be out of place on TRC. it sort reminds me of the grooves on Last December or TRC itself.
