Prince is so not a racist! Hello? Prince was always surrounded by different nationalities (especially white people) and he still is right now!
He is not racist...merely a tad bit 2 outspoken. 
A racist person absolutely positively HATES another race and considers their race superior...Prince cant even identify himself properly sometimes as we all cannot! Unless your family bloodline hasnt been tainted which is virtually impossible nowadays. Me? Im African American a.k.a Wext Indian & Cherokee Indian, see what I mean? At least I can pinpoint my natinality to a tee. Prince doesnt have the time to grudge up some hatred when it would go against his beliefs, no? And how can he consider his race superior? Especially since he's the biggest mix a human being can be. 
He is not a racist...merely overly opinionated. 
Let us not forget that yes, just as much as he is a quiet deep thinking musical genius, once he does get started talking, he has the tendacy 2 ramble on. Just as all folk do who have strong minds & are know-it-all's. He is not a racist...Prince is Prince and thats all and who he will ever be...if you cant figure that out by now, where have u been?

Many people on this site have used the word racist towards Prince lately. I do not believe he is a racist, but I also do not like the direction he's going in these days. I realize that it's none of our business what he does or what religion he chooses to believe in, but I wish he would just get back to making great, funky, sexy music. That's really the bottom line IMO. | |

You know I have been on this board a long time and your same statement has been made a hundred and one time or more. Prince knows good and well of that. Every one wishes that he would come back to us, but no one will ever not buy an album, so why should he? I keep telling my self that I won't buy the next album, but every stinking time he gets one I get it and I am happy with it, I am a member for life! I just wish he was the Prince I grew up on. . . lol Even with the crazy religion he has fallen in with, the man is still the sh!t. Expecially since the record industry has taken a serious nose dive. | |
