Prince is a racist, anti-semite, intolerant religious fanatic and a half-white hypocrite who desperately tries to gain acceptance from a black audience. Worse, in The Moors In Spain he is actually sucking up to the North African Arabs who use the same arguments in their pointless Jihad against 'The West' as he does.

I'm going to sell all those contrived soulless records I own of him to the second hand record shop. I'll keep the real music he ripped off for all these years: Curtis Mayfield (bless him!), Parliament Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Staple Singers, Dramatics, Sly & The Family Stone, James Brown, Rance Allen and the list goes on and on.

In ONAL's "Avalanche",the set-up is to call out a historical WHITE figure as a racist. What if Bruce Springsteen wrote a song about Spike Lee, or any other black as a racist? Who wins in that effort?

*"Moors in Spain": it's easy to call this statement "Lyrics".Question: a supposed "Music Club" offering no music, BUT statements instead hiding behind the label "Lyrics"? Where is the SONG? DOES a song containing said lyrics even EXIST? Or is the word "Lyrics" an easy way to hide the fact that what really is being sent out is propaganda or an agenda under the guise of a "Music Club", that again, offers NO music?

peterlucas: YOU have EVERY right to feel the way you do about Prince. Just because you enjoyed Purple Rain or Parade, does not mean you are obligated to accept who Prince and his art have become.

WHERE is the JOY in being lectured to by Prince about history? There is NO joy in Prince's ventures. In fact I would say he seems angrier than ever.

His old angry lyrics were usually about a love gone wrong-things we could all relate to. Now his lyrics, and messages pretending to be "lyrics"-are ANGER over history and whole groups of people and races of things that happened many lifetimes ago.

There is a foresaking of entertainment in leiu of spreading messages with a backbeat.Make no mistake-the intent of "Moors in Spain","Avalanche", "Family Name", "Muse 2 the Pharoah" have NO relationship to "Jam of the Year","Anotherloverholeinyohead", etc.The author may be the same,but the ajenda is different.

Don't listen to the pin-heads who are putting you down. You are a free-thinking individual who knows when they are being taken advantage of, just because you bought Prince albums in the past.Go put on a Marvin Gaye disc, or Bootsy Collins- and enjoy the joy on the music-no Moops or X-Mess to be found!
