quick question about Xpectation... I have the proper order for the Xpectation tracks but are the Osaka, Copenhagen, Nagoya & Tokyo tracks supposed to be in a particular order as well? I love that it's May & I still have new Prince stuff awaiting me I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it

Also, I have a file called NPGMC_Instrumental, track length is 3:05. The properties of the file say it was created/modified on March 15, 2002 CSq . Copenhagen Nagoya Osaka Tokyo Empty Room Hence...CNOTE! I know "CNOTE" and "Xpectation" are two different offerings, but I have 'em on the same disc and couldn't imagine listening to one without the other. In my opinion, they're different vibes but they compliment each other perfectly.

I know they aren't officially part of the album, but I thought I read somewhere that they flowed in a particular order. Oh well, thanks for answering VSplash... I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it

The official title was 'Instrumental' but it has the melody from 'The Holy River' in parts. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

There was a track called NPGMC_Instrumental_Prince in the July 2001 Edition of the club. It is 3:05 long and it looks to me like a slowed down jazzy version of The Holy River

Funny, I have this instrumental listed as 'The holy river (instrumental)... I cannot think of it as an independent song, because its arrangements are clearly built around a non-included vocal part. Whenever I play this track, there's always a tiny Prince in my head, doing the vocals. I thinks there is a version with the vocals buried somewhere... [edit] 100 posts! Whenever I've made compilations I've always called that track 'The Holy Instrumental', Calhoun. I wonder if this was planned as a B-side/bonus track for 'The Holy River' maxi-single?
