Jones Beach, baby.

Got to see him make his grand entrance by way of playing a guitar solo on a speedboat.

Dallas, Texas, Reunion Arena, headbang, second show though. He did a show that I missed 'cuz I didn't know about. Luckily, he came back a second time to dismiss the reviews papers the gave him that the first show just didn't have it (or something like that).

Boston. It was the only Prince concert I've ever been to. I think it was the second leg of the tour, which I've heard was more stripped-down and suckier than the first.

I had fun, though. I remember him doing a bit about "What's the matter, y'all got a new man on me?" He jumped up on the piano, stuck his ass out and said, "Does yo man have an ass like mine???"

OK, was the '98 European Tour still the Jam of the Year or had we crossed into New Power Soul Tour territory?

Wembley Arena and Brixton Academy.

Fiddler's Green, Englewood, Colorado.

The worst venue for concerts, I think.

I was there too! 2nd row, off to the right if you are looking at the worst stage for concerts in Colorado. The great seats made up for it though! I don't know how many times I've lamented that lousy venue.

I also went to see him at the United Center in Chicago, which was also alot of fun.

Buffalo, NY 9/13/97...first time I had seen Prince since Dec. 84 on the PR tour..also in Buffalo. INCREDIBLE show and also, coincidentally the FIRST show that featured Larry and GCS opening for him. That night, it was just a nuisance cause I was so jacked up to see Prince but if I had known THEN what I know now, I would have been even less thrilled to see Larry!

Summer '97, Atlanta - Astounded me how bad the show was.
Jan?/Feb?, Atlanta - Slightly better, if only for the full version of "Let's Work", but still disappointing compared to earlier shows I had seen to that point.
