Excuse me if this has been poted before, but I thought some of you may be interested in this. Anyway, I came across this video in the store last night and thought it was a bootleg. Sure looks like one. Fortunately the the clerk told me if it was, or if it was poor quality, that I could return it! So, I took a chance and to my surprise it actually is the movie!! Complete with extras; discography,photos, scene selections. Quality is as good as it gets on dvd. The cover, which you can see is obviousy NOT from "Sign 'O' The Times".. :LOL: And it is from a Braziian production company. I think their website is still under construction, but here's the link > http://www.studiogabia.com/
and here's the cover, it is in Portugese, so if you speak spanish it's easy to understand.. There are also copies available on eBay!



P.S. like I said if this has been posted..don't stone me to death. Just trying to spread the news!!

I saw this in a store and wondered if that was what it was. What are the extras?

most of u alraedy know but 4 those who dont...this is a very poor quality bootleg, dont buy it..the sound is abunch of arse

I have this as well, and it sounds great. Bootleg or not,the quality is great! Maybe just a bad batch of bootlegs floting around!

Yes, this was posted before.The quality on my copy is crap.Hopefully a proper release will be done by the powers that be.For unintentional laughs enable the english subtitles, they get a lot of the lyrics wrong!!

The quality is pretty good, but it is too dark and there are like 4 or 5 glitches in the sound.

Helen keller could spot this as a bootleg.

It's not a bootleg. It's officially licensed they just did a crappy job. You think that Amazon and all the companies are going to sell bootleg copies? Prince shuts down boot auctions on ebay and clearly would have stopped this by now.

I read that the company which actually has hundreds of older music related dvd's out buys the rights to print a certain number of copies, but not in English.

It makes sense as the owners can make a little bit of money and then know that everyone will buy it again when they someday release in good quality and in English.

Whatever the case, I can tell it's fishy just by looking at the pictures on it. They're pictures of 1999 era Prince instead of SOTT era Prince.

There's nothing worse than using pics from one era for projects from a completely different era... SHITE!

Thanks pejman! I don't live on the org , so I wasn't sure if it had beened discussed before or not. Well, I guess it'll suffice until the actual release.
