 funny you should mention that it sounds like classic rock... rod stewart and slash have a version of this song... rod on vocals and slash on guitar... i think rod could have torn into this one real nasty like back in his hey-day (around the time of jeff beck, the faces, and "every picture tells a story"), but slash does bring the house down on guitar...  ... I think I agree w/ what folks are saying about the low voice on the album version. It's not a bad song, it just doesn't do it for me.
