06/07/86 Birthday Concert, Detroit I just watched this last night after a long time and Im still impressed with it. One question crossed my mind.Why the fuck hasn't this been released in the States? Prince is funky as hell, mugging for the camera, and he's cute as a button.The cinematography is spot on also. Somebody please release this! Warners? | |

I always wondered the same thing Phil... why professionaly film such an outstanding show and noy release it... -------------------------------------------------

I always wondered the same thing Phil... why professionaly film such an outstanding show and noy release it... I know. My copy is from a Japanese broadcast and is about 50 min long.Didn't know there is a 2 hour version! | |

I have this one it is official! From beginning to end but I have talked to somebody who was at that show and I read that they played The Dance Electric therefore I doubt we will ever see the Andre Cymone version... -------------------------------------------------

If Prince wants it a DVD of the complete concert would be released now, the guy doesn't celebrate birthdays anymore
