The version we have of I Wonder is bare bones. I've heard a version (that I do NOT have myself) that has more instrumentation, and if not "finished", at least much closer to it. I'm wondering if that is what will be included. Honestly, I find the bare boned version we already have to be superior to the track I heard, and I only heard it one time, several years ago. And for the record, the one we have already is one one of my all-time favorite outtakes that have leaked to bootlegs, I was chomping at the bit to hear the finished version, my expectations may have had an effect on my disappointment.

Obviously so many things wrong with this but the ultimate kick in the balls for me is trimming Heaven to a radio edit - it's been an absolute grail for me (and many others) to have this pristine with presumably the start and the fuckwits lop over three minutes off of it.

One cuff looks flared the other doesn't. The collar, the cheekbone, the torso looks bigger than he was? Though granted it could be an optical illusion with this arms positioned how they are. The guitar not being the Symbol or cloud... The upper horn of the guitar is typically longer than the bottom? At the very least that's been edited out.

40 minutes on a CD because there focus is on the shitty low quality vinyl medium is also embarassing.
Prince's 10th year of being gone and all they can come up with a is 40 minutes of music in the same format as an average 90s bootleg.

It's lose/lose, hence the frustration.

The bootleg version of Heaven that we all have was looped in places iirc...so perhaps this is the 'legit' version on the album...
