I noticed on Apple Music and other platforms that P's artist picture is very Love Symbol era. In the past, this sometimes signaled what was next. It could be nothing, but coupled with the release of "With This Tear," I hope that it's true. Someone pointed out that in the Spin article that it's part of an unreleased album project.

I know we already have the music at this point, but I do love the deluxe treatment with all the album art. I do love this album as well.

It's the album I would least want a Deluxe Edition for so that probably means we're going to get one

I can see why the estate would prioritize this though. We know the work has already been done as it was originally going to be released alongside the D&P set so it's obviously a much easier release for the estate to put out. I just hope they don't have high expectations for it when it comes to sales figures because I would anticipate this being by far the lowest selling deluxe edition yet. This era of Prince is not looked upon fondly by a lot of people nowadays. And the vault tracks from Love Symbol leaking last year won't help sales either.

I would like smaller more regular collections, era specific or at least something like the vault 1987-1989

If it's a vault series then it would be odd to start it in the early to mid 90s.

Then again you never know.

These estate guys think they're prince the way they are so cryptic and seemingly flying by the seat of their pants, operating on a whim etc. i predict the series will be the estate channelling the form of the crystal ball set lol

Bring it! This probably should have been a published package a year ago. It would be a coveted collection.

The current managers are failing! I guess their efforts to grapple with Netflix over that now-dead documentary deal was their main preoccupation at the start of their tenure that also froze the vault. I can understand their pause in action while they were constrained by a contract, but firing project managers and now their tremendous incapacity to publish major products that are already assembled by the former Comerica management group is QUITE stunning.

I believe since "With This Tear" is the release they're promoting at the moment, the picture is representative of the time of that song. There is no impending Love Symbol release. Parade is next. Releasing both Parade Deluxe and Love Symbol Deluxe at the same time is not something that would happen. Again, the picture goes with the current new release, which is With This Tear.
