Been listening to this and it’s nice. Very heavy at the start on how gay and Asian people identified with Prince because he didn’t fit into norms, as they did - as a straight, open minded, white bloke it was refreshing to hear other perspectives. Plus comedian Ed Byrne talking about how he bought a Prince guitar from Sheila E in the early 2000’s for the price of a small car, then sold it in Covid times for the cost of a small flat. Lots of good Prince music played in the show too, from My Name is Prince to So Lonely. There may or may not be something coming! | |
