It will probably be the default option if the estate can’t get its act together and gather all the material needed. Hopefully they want to get it done and do the work needed!! |

If true, I’m starting to wonder if the estate wants to wait until the Netflix doc is complete before opening the vault properly, so as to generate more interest beyond the dwindling diehards. I can’t think of any other reason (from the estate’s perspective) why they wouldn’t use these releases to get the vault material out there. They could have thrown another disc (the minimum) on ATWIAD (much more according to Neversin), and we didn’t get one track. They could and should go above and beyond for Parade. I never thought I’d boycott a Prince release. |
