Prince should have done a release like this deluxe CD verision 30 years ago so they could expand that version for release this year. I really hope we get a Expanded set with video (like Lonny said he wanted on there releases) and outtakes.

I guess that means the estate or official account wil release a blurb on this today,
when America has woken up and had a coffee.

I guess with the SOTT Imax release and the Rotterdam Live one off single, along with PR One Step,
and the coming musical they figured there was already way too much out there for us to handle.

The market simply wouldn't know what to do with all this stuff.

I have everything on it. I'll rip a copy of the remaster at some point, but its not on sale in my country so the estate have missed another chance to take my money.

But hey, there's an ATWIAD suitcase and stickers up in the official shop!

On its own, this just isn't exciting, even though I'll be happy it exists.

while the LP deserves a Remaster, the lack of vault tracks is disappoiting to say the least.

I share the feelings. However, I wish to put myself in the shoes of the estate too. Fans ask for releases. They make a remaster and release music. The fanbase is still not happy. They may not understand.

Don't be ridiculous. They're not stupid. What they do is intentional, enough benefit of the doubt. They deserve absolutely nothing as they've proven time and time again they seem to take pleasure in fucking over the fanbase.

I think it is OK to be disappointed. This is not the ATWIAD set we were all hoping for.

Oh wait, but this also means we'll likely not get some extensive liner notes to go with this release. Then again, who'd write those (since they fired Duane Tudahl ages ago)?

Also, the listings at the official site are riddled with typos and errors. Guess they didn't have time to check things that fans immediately notice. Guess that's why these clowns get paid so much money.
