Thank you.
Short but very nice informative article.

Are there any photos of these houses at 2012 Aldrich Avenue and North Arm Drive?

It makes it all so human to hear that Prince also had to deal with a basement that was not watertight, and had to bring in sandbags, etc.
I've always felt strongly that he paid more attention to the speed of his output than to sound quality. Everyone has a different opinion on that. But, for example, the recordings of Dirty Mind are very unique in that respect, despite the known stories about demo quality and the limited way of recording.
It also all fits so perfectly into Prince's very young life course, the unstoppable hunger to profile quickly within his limited capabilities.

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Susan Rogers has often debunked the myth that Prince was a perfectionist, saying it was about Prince getting things down rather than sonically perfect. I do think that later in life, say late 90s onwards, possibly more time was spent on productio, which perhaps took away some of the rawness of Prince’s sound.
There may or may not be something coming!

Yes, she has. And it's always good to hear from her and it's very rarely if ever something negative.
