The event DID happen; she was reportedly ill and did not appear.

She was writing her own memoir which will reportedly be released soon.
I'd like to read it, because shortly before his death, Prince was asking her for more information about their family.
I'm hoping she will fill in the blanks that he was unable to.

Yes. She was too ill to appear at her farewell event at the Dakota in MPLS last June, although the event did proceed.
Reportedly (per TMZ) the EMTs had visited her home several times for various emergencies.

I mean... the estate won't be able to block that, right?

I'm not an expert, and I know she sold her part...

It's just that I don't trust the estate anymore on whatever they might be (conytractual) releated to (if so).
