In other words, a bunch of interesting stuff that 99.99% of fans won't get to hear, because everyone unwilling or unable to pay $1300 + travel expenses can go fuck themselves. Thanks Londell!

I might be remembering it wrong but wasn't there a lot more songs played last year? Unless these aren't the only songs from this year? Either way, hopefully they actually release a few of them for the rest of us to hear. Or maybe they could put out a compilation of last year's tracks.

"Calabama" - it was mentioned that this was the title track to an album Prince was working on pre Musicology but it sounded like an alternate take on "Prince and The Band" with some of the same lyrics

Calabama, that's a weird title. Sounds like a blend of California and Alabama.

This is all interesting, but if we never get to hear it, it might as well not even exist. Just release some music please estate. I have money, please take it! The orger formerly known as https://prince.org/profil...nglishGent

There's probably lot's of unknown unreleased albums in the vault. But the estate thinks merchandise is what we want instead of unreleased music U are now an official member of the New Power Generation

I think it could be more frustrating to hear it once and then not be able to hear it again rather than never getting to hear it. Something BIG Is Coming.

Anyway, I'm curious about this supposed Jamie Starr album. I've only ever heard of him using the Jamie Starr moniker for producing purposes, never as an artist pseudonym. Kinda makes me wonder if it's a real shelved project or if Spicer is just spouting off incorrect information.

Totally! We who've not heard them can only imagine what they might sound like. Those who have, will only have vague memories eventually. Either way I think we are all just being punished somehow if the Estate doesn't release them. [Edited 6/20/24 19:33pm]
