They must be, because I see they get a lot of rave reviews on Google lol
Me and my wife, who also love the song, decided we'll go to Cyprus and eat there next time we want to go on a holiday.
Then I googled what kind of spiders they have in Cyprus and nearly died bawl
But, hell, let's do it anyway lol

Presumably there's a veranda, because most people would prefer to eat out?

The veranda is most likely there to protect patrons from spiders cool

Sounds a little less motivating to plan a whole holiday around it, but good to know biggrin
Add a few others and maybe we can plan a Prince inspired restaurants world tour
lol

It's somewhat cynical that both places use Prince titles to promote themselves, but neither is vegan or vegetarian, though neutral

The head chef at Martika's kitchen is a woman called Martika. They might not have even known the song when they opened. Even if they did, there doesn't seem to be any other Prince mentions or references on their web site, so doesn't look like they're really using Prince to promote themselves.

The Starfish & Coffee place though, tha'ts too random to be a coincidence. Then the huge Sign o the Times poster on the wall puts it beyonf any doubt.

My bet is they know the song and it's a direct reference, but the smart marketing move for a restaurant that seems to bet more on its cuisine than its image, as seems to be the case here, would be to not make a fuss about one little, long forgotten song on the website, while knowing the happy fews who get the reference will smile at the name. I'll probably ask them when we go there, though biggrin

Service Person:

Hi! Would you like to order something to drink before your food order?

.

Databank:

Yeah, do you have something juicy, but not too fishy?
