Hmm...
A very special performance of the music of Prince, performed by those who were closest to him in his final years. Artists include Donna Grantis, Marva King, Shelby J, Adrian Crutchfield, BK Jackson, and a special farewell performance by Tyka Nelson. St. Paul Peterson & The Minneapolis Funk All-Stars will act as house band.

Sounds intriguing.

Are all these artist left out of the Celebration'24 circus this year?

Revenge performance? wink))

I wonder how well St.Paul (a quiet down to earth guy) gets along with Tyka?!

-

OH GOD! Maybe Tyka wants to sing.......

seek shelter all!

-

And Sheila E. and the E-train are also performing on July 26th.

Isn't the E-train an invention of Prince?

Can she use this name? (The Time, The Family...)

No one's revenge performing.

St. Paul keeps his calender filled with working and this is just part of his ongoing gig. Even Fink is part of the band for now. I think Elisa still sings with them, too. They're funkier than a sack of grandaddies. lol

LOL Sis, Prince would've been 65 this year. RETIREMENT AGE! 👴🏾 grandpa

Paul is only a couple years older than me (still this side of 60 thankyouverymuch). But he is a new grandpa last month I believe.

I follow Paul on his instagram's FunkFridays...

Man they make SUCH GOOD MUSIC!

ALL THE TIME.

I even record all those snippets, and listen to them.

And I love that last abum of Paul and Eric; "LP Music".

By the way, my remark of a revenge performace was a nasty joke. wink
