I'd go one better and make it a triple album. I'd put all the Come tracks on album 1 I'd put all the Gold tracks on album 2 I'd put all the C&D tracks on album 3. And apart from reinstating Days of Wild, I'd leave the damn thing alone blah blah blah |

3very good albums on their own, from différent eras. But, apart from TMBGITW ( that isnot really on TGE, since it's an odd remix), not one obvious hit such as Cream. Maybe Gold? So no point In making it just one disc, not even talking about 2 discs. And by the way, all 3 albums stand in only 2 discs. So, You can as well close that topic. |

I imagined you weeping into the keyboard while typing that Its not hate Its simply that i think this period needed editing Lots of great material that gets overlooked cos of there being so much decent but less impressive material surrounding it. And as he was so productive in this period, it would make sense to have a sott-style double to put it all in one place. Whether Warners would have gone with it,idk, but one big album rather that one every year wouldve made a bigger statement. But i know plenty fans think p control is one of the best things he ever did so hey lol As for the length, well, cd lengths served few artists well. The reason c+d is so fun is cos its short and to the point. No time for needless interludes or songs better kept for b sides. [Edited 12/30/23 22:51pm] |

Unless ruining the quality of the audio,that can't be.
