Mariah Carey Says She’ll Never Forgive Herself for Not Finishing Prince Song

From what she says, she just had... "a melody." Nothing else. And she didn't know if she wanted to make a ballad out of it. Sound great craftmanship if you aske me. Yeah... blah-blah, she was nervous being around Prince. I think Prince was bored. Simly didn't see or hear much potential. She was doing songs with a lot of samples at the time, versus, Prince says you got to make your own thang. Uh-huh. Next. - Bash me but i never liked Mariah Scarey's songs.

I think she was way too talented and independent to be a Prince protegee

Mariah is properly rated. She's got a % material for everyone unless you're just willfully contrarian
It totally makes them a protege and that's the function Madonna basically served on "Love Song", which was all Prince-ly weird funk with no discernable elements of Madge.
