Blu-ray Stutter or stop in playback on PS4/Xbox?

I read Some comments on Facebook that people experience Blu-ray Stutter or stop in playback on PS4/Xbox ?


Is this more common or region/device related?

I can't speak about the Prince Blu Ray because I don't have it but a lot of DVDs I have will have one or two little stutters or pauses when I watch them on the Xbox. So it might not be an issue with the Blu ray itself, it could just be a playback error caused by the console.

same here on Xbox Series X, never had any problem playing anything on it and I play alot of 4K Blurays on that thing.

I experienced some difficulties on my Xbox Series X too. When I inserted the disk the first time, the xbox didn't recognize it. The second time it did. When I skipped tracks (just browsing through the songs) I saw soms glitching images too. I think it's cause by the way the images are processed through the consoles. When I watched without forwarding songs etc, there were no issues.
