Passionfruit Love Ale .
Ha, that's awesome, thanks for sharing. I like the design on the can too, subtle while also being on the nose about it. |

I don´t wanna know Australian "beer", that´s enough for me. . I think that you have to separate the Aussie beer (Fosters, xxxx etc) market from their beard twiddling hipster craft beer market to be fair. It’s a totally different yeast beast. In NZ we had a Purple Rain cider put out by a boutique craft brand called Funk Estate. Too sweet for me but cool can. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! |

Exactly - Fosters says more about European lack of taste in beers because it was far more popular over there than in Australia

Never heard of Foster and never seen it for sale here in Netherlands. But then again we are beer snobs over here and also have the most horrible beer (pils) in the world called Heineken

I started this post as I'm an Aussie in to Craft beer. Never had Fosters in my life? Was it an Australian Beer?? |

Wasn't their tagline something like "Fosters, Australian for beer!" 🤣

Not within Australia - it was used in a failed attempt to move the Melbourne based beer outside of Victoria. With this failure, they exported it instead.

You've never "had" Fosters or you've never "heard" of it? I realize you explicitly wrote the word "had", but your concluding sentence suggests you've never heard of it.

I used Fosters as an example but could also have said VB. Horrible swill. I don’t bother with craft beer much. The Belgians perfected posh beer centuries ago. The new craft stuff is just about piling in the hops or making it hazy or sour but all tastes like shit to me. A good German lager like Bittburger for a hot summers day or a nice Belgian blonde or tripel for an occasion. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! |

I don´t drink Beer anymore. or once a year. So as an Austrian i normally drank Austrian (Stiegl, Gösser, Hirter), , Czech beer or German beer (last time in COlogne a Koelsch in July) the years back then .
