It's a great track! But I wouldn't go that far. It also sounds like it could have done with a little bit
more work, perhaps? Seems like a demo to me. A very far along demo, but a demo still.

I like it. I don't think it would have been a good fit for the album. I could imagine it being on an album with tracks like Allegiance and Get Blue I get a more of a late 80's vibe from it.

It goes well with the Martika songs and other stuff from the era

There's a whole 10 song album on this set that sounds a bit more like early 90's music
and a little sprinkle of new jack swing. And I like that idea, I'm looking forward to just
making a cool playlist of such tracks to enjoy as an 'album that never was'.

It sounds like he trying to emulate the current R&B of that era with the same chord progression they were using

Does anyone reckon it'll be a standalone seven at least? Not paying 100 quid for. box of sevens that i already own just for this one track a bit louder than it will be on the box :/

Loving this! Groove gives some Teddy Riley & New Jack Swing vibes. Hint of Batman era in the background vocals, or maybe it's that sweep reverb effect.
