I'll probably get slated for this, but I would get rid of Hot Thing, although that's just based on my personal taste. Play in the Sunshine is the other song I could just about lose.

Being a bit more objective, perhaps you should ditch 'U Got The Look' - it's a fabulous pop record, but it was the last addition to the album, and doesn;t quite hang with the rest.

you can edit the song fade outs a tiny bit and you can fit the whole album on a single disc... otherwise... cut... I don't know!

I was leaning towards getting rid of U Got The Look but i'm toying with the idea of losing slow love purely cause Adore is on there.Hot Thing stays though.

The only song that I would cut would be Play In The Sunshine. I would replace it with Joy In Repetition with the original lone, long drum beginning.

Ditch Slow Love it's boring!

No way...you gotta keep Slow Love! That's one of his best ballads ever. What you could do, is use the single version of either I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man, If I Was Your Girlfriend, or the title track- because the singles are edits anyway. You could easily trim off a minute by using one of those edits.

i've snipped the wedding march intro on If I was Your Girlfriend, i've snipped the end of Housequake (the repetitive scratching noises have gone) lost the bell at the beginning of Starfish&Coffee, lost 10-12 secs off Hot Thing and faded it out early, same with U Got The Look, Dorothy Parker and Strange Relationship, lost the first 11 secs off the Cross, it now starts with the Guitar Strumming

I'm getting there! Though some of the tracks, because of their nature cannot be faded out or cut.Play in the sunshine runs into Housequake etc

I've never cared for "It". Rather dull song that goes nowhere. The only song on SOTT that I don't really care for.
