Great (live) version, both! Always loved his fuck-you attitude towards (the use of) drugs in this song. But the way he sings this is just pure amuseument and fun. The ''Clap Your Hands'' part reminds of some Janelle Monae... Indeed let's hope he re-recorded it.

It would really cool if there was an album of songs he re-recorded for an album. We know for Sure he did Extra loveable and In A Large Room. Something BIG Is Coming. |

It did appear to be a possible theme or project. I recall seeing artwork by Spencer Derry around the same time as he did the Free Urself stuff. On the P&M tour he tended to start Purple Music with 'welcome to the freedom galaxy' and follow with Free Urself. . Also, 'the freedom galaxy' is mentioned in Ruff Enuff. |
