Sinéad O'Connor RIP

Suprised this wasn't a topic already created today, so wanted to make this in tribute to a singer who revitazlied "Nothing Compared 2 U" and put their stamp on Prince's great composition and keeping his music out there for all to love

Thanks to her, the song got all the well deserved attention.

Props to her for that.

This song should've been a single for The Family imho.

Paul Peterson did a beautiful live piano rendition of this song on his instagram page.

...regretting that he never met Sinéad, to talk about this wonderful song by Prince.

It's really a beautiful tribute.

Say what you want about her, and god knows prince fans have said some nasty stuff, without her version of the song, prince wouldnt have cared about that song, and a lot of ppl who didnt care about prince had to give him respect as a songwriter
It was so popular, everyone knew prince wrote it which was good for his reputation

That aside, she was an amazing singer
