It is already pretty difficult to navigate P's huge catalog... and I am just being honest here.. there is a LOT of stuff that is not as brilliant as the others....

This release is a major pisstake, a slap in our face or whatever you want to call it. After 2 years of nothing, it's outrageous, and I'm furious.

To release a half-assed remix of an old hit, coupled with a mono EDIT of an unknown song is a sin at this point, when we're talking about the vault of one of the most prolific musicians of all times.
Yes, I'm sure 'All A Share Together Now' is an EDIT. Do you really think Prince started playing this groove and after barely 3 minutes, he starts a solo – but goes: "fade this shit out"? LOL
We are talking about a guy who regularly enjoyed stretching a groove to 10 mins and in many cases, the most interesting things happen on his recordings after the usual fade-out point.

So to release this (with ZERO info at all) to a massive and highly critical and knowledgable fanbase is a slap in the face indeed.

And to have the nerve to promise another announcement (not an actual release, only an announcement – of perhaps nothing more than yet another single?...) in August is laughable too, at this point. Fuck Londell and his gang. This isn't right, to say the least.
