Is it me or does All A Share Together now has a low pitched Prince's voice?

(Actyually the same for 7 (E Falt version)

Did they made a mistake?

Anyway, I don't considder this a song, it's just a jam to me, a loop with imho poor arrangements.

It also seems that the start is cut off something, and the fade out looks like there's more, at least that how it feels to me.

The song fits the atmosphere of 'Old friends For Sale.'

Yeah i kow it's from epmber 2006... Still it has somehow a lame sound and feel...

Actually good that Prince did not release these two songs back in the day.

Regardless of the audio quality...All A Share Together Now is growing on me...but I agree its barely a song...7 E Flat still sucks. I guess I am glad we at least have something...but man what a let down.

The cassette didn't merely say "The Vault". It said: "The Vault Vol. 1". Labeling it volume 1 certainly does suggest plans for a series.

With that said, the Estate is inept, so it wouldn't surprise me if there is no follow up.

Maybe they did a 'Van Halen'.
Back when in the 90s when The Best of Van Halen Volume 1 Eddie explaind tha t it was a joke and that a 'Volume 2' would never be made because they didn't have enough material but thought it would be funny to call it 'Volume 1'.

Also, curious why and who at the estate decided to add a sample from The Max to the snippet, that was on the Cele promos, that is not on the full released version

11am EST and still no mention of these songs on any of the official Prince accounts. Meanwhile, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork have already reported on the releases.

Pretty sad that casual fans continuously have to find out about this shit from secondhand sources rather than the estate themselves.

Not sure exactly what issues they're addressing. The previous estate's releases did have their own problems but at least they were releasing shit on a regular basis in a way that shouldn't take too much tweaking to improve. Whatever these guys put out later in the year better be damn good and flawless after all this time "addressing issues", but judging from the rollout of these new songs, it'll be a mess.

I know we all want more but I keep hearing that "there are finished albums ready to go in the vault" really? on who's say so? I mean we all there are tons of songs all over the place especially from the 90's that he was doing and just bootlegging them or allowing them to be bottlegged due to the WB dispute (yes there was alot of "OK with it" bootlegging going on). And as fans I get it we want all the stuff that we "think" we know is ready to just be funneled out there. BUT lets think a moment, when PRINCE got "free" did the flood gates really open? I mean the NPG music club started out OK and then like all else he became bored with it, or there just was not enough quality stuff in there or that he even wanted out there. I know he didnt have a will but I guarantee there is some kind of notes somewhere to not release this and that, I know we think someone can just go in and put it all out, but sorry it doesnt work like that due to who played on these things, what is his, what is a collabo, what is signed off on etc......If I had to predict we will see a SDE of the Love Symbol album or D&P this year and then next year some sort of FULL Purple Rain 40th Anniversary hopefully they can get into proteges at this point, The Time, Vanity, APollonia 6, Jill Jones, The Family because I am a little more interested in having those legally released not CDRS or photocopied booklets or someones bottom of the basement copy sold for 100 dollars used.
