Yeah, he found a niche. A lot of people on MTV were annoying around that time. The 90s were a fucking trip that way. But he was cute, probably got a ton of pussy, and did a lot of fun shit in front of and off camera. No way a show like his could be successful today. Because partly, reality shows weren't that big - despite the existence of Real World and Road Rules. We didn't have every Tom, Dick, and Kardashian getting a show. Hell, we didn't even really have sex tapes besides Rob Lowe.

So a weirdo on TV was quirky and different. Nowadays, it's standard garbage.

.

His mother ran the Comedy Store in LA/Hollywood, so he grew up in show business. If your entire childhood is filled with nothing but famous comedians, then it's bound to rub off. And having all those connections, he probably worked them well.

Ah so he's a nepo baby?? Got it. And from what little I know about the slacker scene (or whatever it's called) of the 90's from being a Beck fan, the "he found a niche" comment makes sense too. I tried watching the video but couldn't stand him, and was shocked Prince agreed to have him inside Paisley. Maybe he really did just .... turn up lmao

eye dont think U heard me . . .

I guess in the 80s we used to think looking stupid and stoned was cool.

Wish there was something more shown here, like Prince himself , but cool to see some of PP back then. Thx

I liked Pauly way back when. He was the cute fun loving guy you ditched classes with and had a wild zany memorable day. Then we grew up and he wasn't interesting anymore. Well he did go bald and a big part of his appeal was surfer hair. Well its nice he went. He was a celebrity and Im sure a ton of celebs have passed through there. Im sure many recorded or something.
Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Being the offspring of someone famous or in the business doesn't guarantee anyone a job or success. At all. I could name names, but I won't.
