I would rather buy in a wrecka Stow or online than stream.

This is as a resulf of being a Prince fan. Prince was an early adopter of providing things online and too many of these became too hard to get once that site was rejigged or replaced.

Is this supposed to be a poll? If so, put it like this:

I would rather buy Prince music via:

A - A physical wrecka stow.
B - Downloaded files
C - Streaming

I can't make sense of your post.

Do you mean you'd rather order a CD/vinyl online than at a brick-and-mortar store? If so, then it should be "buy online rather than go to wrecka stows".

Or do you mean you'd rather buy a physical copy either online or at a brick-and-mortar store, as opposed to some unamed third alternative, such as streaming?

Your second sentence is even more cryptic. What do we mean? And how does this summaries the state of Prince fan-dom?

I've cut way back on my physical CDs. The only physical music media I have is in the form of DEs or SDEs.

For instance, the new Smashing Pumpkins triple album, "Atum"... There was a swanky box set for the vinyl version, but I'm not a vinyl guy. The CD version was just a tri-fold digi-pak with nothing extra. So I bought the album through iTunes. Had there been a big-ass CD box set, I would have preordered it the second it was announced.

They need an option for, "I never buy vinyl". 'Not this year', has a sense that maybe next year I could. But nope, never buying vinyl. Got nothing to play it on. Always hated it when it was the main format, before CDs came about. I preferred tape. I hated the crackles pops, scratches etc.

Exactly. The only reason I have bought vinyl since before the current fad is because you could not get the full set of other inclusions in the Prince SDEs without also getting some coloured plastic discs.

I can understand Prince fans preferring vinyl in the past when the choice was crackles, pops and scratches or poorly mastered CDs - But this was not a medium issue, it is a poorly mastered CDs issue.
