Batman, For You, Lovesexy - 2023 vinyl re-issues?

I’ve seen this site before being early with new stuff (Rodserling used to post from them, remember him?). If this Batman vinyl re-issue is legit, there’s little/no info on who is releasing it, but likely Warners.

There are a For You and a Lovesexy 2023 vinyl re-issues up on the site too, all with 26th May 2023 release date. States they are a “Reissue from the original Warner (Bros.) Records stereo master with digitally recreated original cover.”

AN LP doesn't have room for additional material. These reissues are just that - reissued so everything is on vinyl for the sake of it. Just like his first few albums were reissued (and remastered) and put out the day he died. I can only imagine it'd have extra artwork inside or something.

But - at this point, who the fuck knows what's going on anywhere?

Last month someone on Facebook mentioned Come vinyl reissue in May but it seems like it won't happen.

It mentions that for Lovesexy, Prince 'rehashed' material from The Black Album and Crystal Ball... songs which are 'reissued' here - they mean 'reused' here, along with 'additional material'... by which I think they mean other songs that were newly written/recorded for Lovesexy... misleading description indeed...

This Reddit discussion, also mentions a Batman reissue in May but also a Come one.

Amusingly, a certain user going by the name ‘BCdotWHAT’ has a very ‘Bartesque’ reply to another user’s comment about Come being Sony legacy, “ Read the goddamn press release they put out years ago. It's easily found. But read it. Really read it. Oh, and look at what was released in the past couple of years, by whom and where. It's piss-easy to figure this out.“ 🤣

On the german internet retailer jpc it says "Prince...published it here with additional material" (own translation from german) - it´s a description of "Lovesexy".

SO the reissue of Batman is delayed to the 8th of September, Lovesexy is scheduled for the 14th of July. Prices: 26 Euros (Germany).
