Couple or 3 mentions of Prince, including Chan Poling of ‘The Suburbs’ mentioning First Avenue and “being invited to the filming of Purple Rain in the club and witnessing firsthand the performance of that song being born (yes, I knew Prince—he told me once that he loved my song “Love Is the Law”)”.
