Designing a Purple Rain washcloth and towel set, because they know that's what the fans want. Ancient Egyptians postulated 7 souls.
Top soul, and the first to leave at the moment of death, is Ren, the secret name...

I hope their next move is to sell replicas of his shoes at $700. I think most of us would rather have that than any music. Something BIG Is Coming.

I was still hoping in a Parade SDE surprise announcement yesterday.
Waiting 4 D&P SDE...

Im completly out of the loop now, come on here may be once every few days to see if theres anything new. I thought the family now owned most of the prince estate now? So if thats the case its not surprising that its all gone to shit worse than before. Can anyone give out some positive news on the situation?

They're doing a great job, they now have limited quantities of 3rdeye glasses available for sale. What more could we possibly ask for? The orger formerly known as https://prince.org/profil...nglishGent

They're busy fighting amongst themselves and chasing every non-musical avenue possible while a vault of incredible unreleased music collects dust. The pool of dedicated fans who actually give a shit about his vault is steadily dwindling every year but these clowns are too fucking dumb to ever realize it and capitalize on it.

From Housequake’s twitter feed: NEW: Estate of musician Prince announces new GPT-4 powered ‘PrinceAI’ chatbot. https://twitter.com/House...gr%5Etweet Also, “Jam of the year”, “a deliciously funky blend of blueberries and blackberries”. “A new Prince jam full of the sweet taste of fruit and funk. Available now.” Check when it was posted 🤣 There may or may not be something coming!

I was going to post something similar in reply to Charles F. Spicer's comment about the idiots at prince.org If it wasn't for us, there wouldn't be a fanbase!

And how many LEAKS have reached us since 2016? Also no that much, right ? "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Yeah, because the only Prince fans in the world are the ones who congregate here. Formerly TheDigitalGardener etc.

The Estate should make Prince toilet paper with all the outtakes they are not going to release anytime soon listed on the paper so that we can flush our hopes everytime we take a crap

I know everybody wants more music. But could it be that the big SDEs are loss-making endeavours? I have no idea about the costs involved in mastering the music, producing the high gloss booklets, and to create the physical copies... Does anybody have inside into this (please, no outside guessing, only replies form someone who really knows...)

. I cared very much. I was one of many who said that surrounding himself with yes-men was a disastrous choice. . I simply didn't care about the at best mediocre tripe he released post-1995, and I said numerous times that the vault should have been monetized. Meanwhile you lot were saying with each new release "his best one in years", ignoring that you said the same about the previous ones and instead now pretending you never liked those ones that much.

It has been discussed here before, and SDE's surely still make enough profit. Enough to keep things going, and give the incompetent non musical family hounds each a bag of fresh bones. And that is where the whole problem is. The bag of bones is probably never enough. So the hounds bite and fight, spend probably more than they earn or think they deserve, and that's when shit hits the fan, imho. We end up with no info, no nothing since two years, except for low quality produced trash like slippers, sheets, pyjamas... And that Michael Howe is out of the picture with no explanation whatsoever. Now they want to keep us hanging on for nearly three months now, with the number '7'...

I know he died in April, just had the dates mixed up. Sue me. I'm a fairly new fan anyway I don't claim to hold a PHD on Prince. [Edited 4/4/23 11:40am]

I remembered it was April because the song "Sometimes It Snows In April" came up a lot in conversation with other Prince fans I spoke to when I was first getting into his back catalogue. But I wouldn't have been able to pinpoint the date. The reason for that is I don't really give two hoots about the date of his death. It's completely irrelevant when discussing his music and to suggest you are not a Prince fan because you didn't know that useless piece of trivia is possibly one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on here.
