Bang Bang

Has Bang Bang ever been confirmed as a Prince written song.

The Credit at Princevault goes to Levi as the writer and Producer.

Seems a little odd Prince would add his vocal to the track without having more involvement.

Something BIG Is Coming.

In this thread an order mentions conversing with Brownmark, who said it was a Prince track. No public confirmation, though, as far I know.

I believe it to be Prince's song but as someone who read Mark's book nothing he says can ever be taken seriously.

To me it has all the hallmarks of a Prince production from that era - I even hear Prince's voice in a lot of the background vocals and samples. Could just be Brownmark using Prince's studio with the pre-set sounds that were available, but to me I believe it originates from Prince.

You know what -I thought that - but when I checked my iTunes there was only the Brownmark version so I just assumed I'd dreamt it! Thanks for the reminder - I'll have to dig through my hard drive now!
