I agree I see a lot of disparaging things said about Billie Eilish's inclusion on this list but to me she's one of the better singers on here. The only thing that might be a legit criticism is her relative newness. But if you listen to songs like "Your Power", "Everybody Dies" or "My Future" it's obvious the girl can sing.

And I think I know how Celine Dion got left off.

The voters were probably given a ballot of their top ten singers.

Celine Dion is a member of what is known as the Vocal Trinity along with Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

I can almost gaurantee that voters voted for their fave between the three and obviously their faves broke down evenly between Whitney and Mariah considering their high showings.

People who voted for Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Courtney Love didn't vote for either one, leaving Celine with a woefully low voter turnout.

Bob Dylan is by far a fantastic and 'most' original singer. He is so much more than his voice.

He is in this case the perfect example why a technical perfect voice with any range is not interesting (enough) for most voters (apparently).

Why else would he be so much more a bigger artist than all the Celine D's, Whitney H's and Mariah C's altogether?

Probably those three fantastic ladies (don't get me wrong, they ARE fantastic! I love them) will not

survive the test of time, but uncle Bob will.

Bob Dylan is so much more lyrical, musical, as a human, his contribution to so many other things, political, social, musical, story telling wise, etc...

And those three (again) wonderful ladies just don't have that. Period.

And his voice is just an instrument for all his being, in his complete package as the widely known 'Bob Dylan'.

Looks don't matter here, it's the complete picture.

'Dylan' as a name has become a serious statement. Even if you like him or not. Those three women IMHO are not even halfway the range of Chaka Khan for that matter.

I personally only have two Dylan albums. I'm not much into his music, but I can say how important he is, and his voice is therefor more than relevant and so recognisable.

I would even add Tom Waits to the list. Don't know if he's on there.

An 1980's teen, I've watched Rolling Stone kiss Dylan's ass for damn near 40 years. But this takes the cake. Dylan is succsessful in spite of his singing; Not bacuase of it. Great poet? Yes. Great song writer? Sure. Singer? NO. Above Prince, Elvis, Marvin Nina, and 4 octave range Paul? NO.

Prince was getting his flowers when he was still here, it's just continuing after his transition. Also I"m not the biggest MJ fan, but that was hella disrespectful to put him down to #86. Regardless of Michael's trials and tribulations, there is and only be one MJ and you WILL NOT erase his legacy.
