The song "it" from SOTT I really love it but I never hear anyone talk about it why is that ? I loved how he performed it at the end of Forever in my life in the SOTT movie and also during the diamonds and pearls tour at the end of Thieves in the Temple. It's one of my favorite songs on the album. I don't think a lot of people feel the same.

we don't want to think about much of anything all the time let alone figure out what IT is, i think.
and some people are scared of clowns so maybe (oops) is a trigger
come on, everybody knows that "IT" is really a princespeaktextism for SUITE whereby eliminate "IT" and then what is left is USE, or U KNOW (in the spanish translation) or US (duh) and
why hasn't anybody created the game called "princespeaktextisms" and made them relevant yet?
i guess people just aren't obsessed like me Welcome to "the org", heartpeacesheart…

Prince definately got the dirty, gritty, nasty production right on this one. It's like the album artwork went dark. "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" | |

A banger! It has climbed the list throughout the years. I love how he says "Alright" after every line.

When the Love Of My Life and I got back together for a short while in the early 90s, she told me every time she heard "It" she was reminded of me. . That was the best compliment I've ever received.

Honestly? It's almost like you gathered a bunch of those word magnets, threw them in the air and typed whatever you saw when they landed.

This song's title makes it hard to search for; does anyone have information about the unreleased "full version" mentioned on Princevault?

Why is "it" in lower case letters.
didn't start out that way Welcome to "the org", heartpeacesheart…

"It"'s kind of a dilution/direct simplification of his core lyrical themes. [Edited 11/6/22 13:17pm]

So Prince recorded "It" in May 1986. In September 1986 Stephen King's book "It" came out. I good portion of the book takes place in June 1958! And then later on in the part set in 1985, Prince's "New Album" is mentioned--with the dig at Prince that the person did not want the album. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"
