Prince and the law of attraction

If you don't believe in New Age spirituality, no need to fill this thread with condescending tones.

Reading Prince's memoirs made me realize that he believed in creating your reality by way of using your imagining and going as far as creating different personas.

Looking at his entire life trajectory it seems as though he created his own fantasy world where everyone was just a piece of the puzzle.

Of course by the mid 2000's the law of attraction became a popular topic with books such as the Secret but Prince had been using it without even realizing it.

I find it interesting.

Of course he did.
He and his sister Tyka knew they'd become famous and even at a young age they practiced their autographs.
In the late 1970s, he was walking down the street dresssed "plain" and heard someone say "That's not Prince - he wouldn't dress like that". So he vowed to always be "on".

We all know what he said: "Create your day then create your life."

But it's not new age thought at all. He had this tain of thought from an early age, long before woo-woo "philosophies" came about.

It's about going into a business where a persona is necessary -- and he changed his every album/concert tour.

It's called lleism and there's no magical bullshit about it. If Prince had been born bucktoothed, crosseyed, and missing a leg then he wouldn't have acheived what he did. Manifesting isn't real. It's called goal-setting and hard work. By all accounts (including the people who didn't like Prince at all), he worked harder than anyone around him. THAT is the secret to success. Magic isn't involved.

Who said anything about magic ? The law of attraction is very similar to the law of gravity.

Universal law.

Prince said it himself, he visualized it first.

I agree and that's what we are supposed to do in life.

It carries over after people pass away too.

Magic is always involved. It takes magic to pull of a successful life even without all those ailments and let's face it we all grew up as relatively ugly unattractive creatures. Seems like somebody hasn't revisited their old elementary school class pictures in awhile. We had our parents to blame or whoever gave us their handmedown clothes sometimes. What am I looking like wearing my cousin's clothes and she was 7 years older than me? That's right, I'm looking like the picture of new wave. Wait until I get home. OMG its so on.

Some of us might end up missing a leg later in life or missing a tooth or crosseyed just by trying to read this tiny font on the internet.

What goes up must come down.

You know what never lies?

That's right the booty don't lie.
