paperback version of Parade and Sign O' The Times Era Studio Sessions

Is the paperback version of this book identicial to the hardback version, or were there any updates/revisions?

When the paperback version of Tudahl's earler volume, Purple Rain Recording Sessions, was released, it did include some updates and revisions relative to the hardbook version. So there is precedent.

I'm just wondering whether it's worth my while to invest in a second copy.

Yes. He has added information leading into the LoveSexy era based on newer interviews.

The updated PR sessions book is marked as Expanded Edition. I have the paperback of that one. I don't have the first pre-expanded edition.
